Ulefone Power Armor 16 Pro is touted to become the world's loudest smartphone on its launch - NotebookCheck.net News

Ulefone may have taken inspiration from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra in designing its next new rugged smartphone; however, where that 2022 flagship smartphone centers top-end cameras in its round rear hump, the Power Armor 16 Pro rocks a markedly huge speaker grille instead.

This is because its maker intends to take the (however niche) title of "world's loudest smartphone" from the AGM H5 series with the upcoming 16 Pro. Ulefone claims it can blare "HiFi Quality" sound out of its round main speaker to the tune of up to 122 decibels (dB) in volume.

Not only does that value beat that of AGM's offerings on paper, it is also even touted to outdo dedicated portable speakers such as the JBL Charge 5.

Otherwise, it seems to have fairly standard (albeit occasionally up-to-date) tough-phone specs, with the MediaTek Helio P22 platform to drive a 5.93-inch HD+ display with an Android 12-based UI.

It will also hit more apparently popular rugged mobile device notes with a 9,600mAh battery to keep all these internals going, all packed into an IP68/69K/MIL-STD-810G-compatible build.

Ulefone has yet to reveal how much it will cost to own the world's latest "highest volume" smartphone, although it hints it will be somewhere between US$109.99 and US$199.99 on its launch.

The OEM also has yet to mention when this event will occur, although it is currently running a giveaway for the upcoming device that ends in 27 days from now (September 16, 2022).
